Tallinn Christmas Market

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Tallinn

Arrival in Tallinn, transfer to the hotel of your choice. Evening free to explore the Old Town and Christmas Market on the Raekoja plats (Town Hall Square). 

The Christmas Market has become popular among Estonians as well as tourists. The market is growing each year and more new huts are added each year. There are approximately 70 wooden huts to browse through, and you can enjoy traditional food and products. There is plenty of mulled wine and gingerbread to keep you both warm and in the Christmas spirit. You’ll find great gifts from a wide variety of Estonian products and handcrafts: toys, hand-made Christmas decorations, candles, basketry, woollen sweaters and socks, sheepskin, linen fabrics as well as painted silk, the popular colorful felt hats, patch blankets, glassware, goods from clay, paintings, graphic art and much more. The Tallinn Christmas market oozes with Christmas Spirit and creates a happy environment full of gifts and activities for children and adults alike.

Day 2: Tallinn City Tour & Christmas Market

Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquility and modern urban life. The Old Town is magical all the year round, but at its best in the run-up to Christmas when the magic is felt at every corner. During the morning walking tour we will get to know the most important sights in the Old Town including Toompea Castle, Dome Cathedral and Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in the Upper Town as well as St. Nicholas Church and the medieval Old Town Hall in the Lower Town. The tour ends in the Old Town Hall Square where we join the bustle of the traditional Christmas Market and shop for unique gifts.
In the evening we can help with ticket arrangements for a ballet or opera performance at the Estonian Theatre.

Day 3: Tallinn your own way

The day is reserved for exploring more of Tallinn on your own. We can also arrange guided tours or a day trip to Helsinki, the ferry crossing takes 2 hours each way.

Day 4: Departure from Tallinn

Departure transfer will be provided according to your flight.
