Sarajevo, Bihac, Mostar – 10D/9N

DAY 1

Arrival in Sarajevo and Old Town tour

Get transferred from Sarajevo airport to your hotel. Rest and gear up for a tour through the Old Town and visit top sites such as the Turkish marketplace, fountains, Gazi Husrev Bey mosque, cathedral, City Hall and more. Sample some delicious Bosnian food (at an additional cost) and get some valuable insight into how the First World War started by visiting the site of Archduke Franz Ferdinand’s assassination.

DAY 2

Sarajevo city tour

Gear up for a scenic tour of Spring of the Bosna river and surround yourself with beautiful nature. You can go for a carriage ride around the pine trees and then visit one of the remnants of the Bosnian war – the Tunnel of Hope – which was used to bring in food and humanitarian aid when the city was under siege. Finally, head to Trebevic mountain and have some refreshments at Sunnyland mountain restaurant while enjoying the panoramic view of the city. You can also try the Alpine Coaster ride at an additional cost.

DAY 3

Travnik-Jajce tour and transfer to Bihac

Check out from your hotel in Sarajevo and gear up for a tour of Travnik and a medieval town, Jajce, before making your way to Bihac. Marvel at the unique architecture of Travnik and visit the colourful mosque. The beautiful castles in Jajce will leave you awestruck, and you can even see the beautiful waterfall located in the city centre. We’d recommend sampling some delicious Bosnian dishes before finishing off the day by checking in to your hotel in Bihac.

DAY 4

Bihac tour

Embark on a tour of Bihac and visit one of the cleanest rivers of Europe, Una. You can then make your way to the largest national park of Bosnia, which is named after the river and visit the Martin Brod village that has beautiful waterfalls and some great places where you can sample delicious food (at an additional cost).

DAY 5

Bihac boating

Gear up for an exciting trip to an eco-village, where you can take a relaxing trip on the riverboats. You can also choose to have your lunch while boating in the picturesque surrounding (at an additional cost).

DAY 6

Mostar tour

Prepare for your transfer to the Ottoman city of Mostar, where you will embark on a tour of the Old Town. You will visit the world-famous Stari Most bridge, Koski Mehmet Pasha Mosque and lots of other attractions. Then, go for some souvenir shopping at the Turkish marketplace. Once done, you will check in to your hotel in Mostar, and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 7

Herzegovina tour

Explore the natural scenic beauty of the south of Bosnia and visit Herzegovina. Marvel at the 450-year-old Sufi Housein Blagaj and the picturesque Ottoman town of Pocitelj before visiting the stunning Kravice waterfall, which is the largest one in the entire region.

DAY 8

Transfer to Sarajevo

Prepare for your departure to Sarajevo, and on the way, you will get a chance to visit Konjic and its famous Ottoman stone bridge. You will also get an opportunity to see a beautiful eco-village set among the mountains by the river and get a chance to gain insight into traditional rural architecture and lifestyle.

DAY 9

Free day in Sarajevo

You have the rest of the day to yourself, so you can either relax or explore the city and its mouthwatering cuisine before preparing for your departure the next day.

DAY 10

Farewell Bosnia

It’s time to say goodbye to Bosnia. Explore your favourite sites one last time and get souvenirs before heading back home.
