Arrive in cosmopolitan London and transfer independently to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure

DAY 3, Thursday – Full Day in London
Discover the history and pageantry of London, on your own today. Perhaps join the optional Royal London Tour with River Cruise. Begin with a panoramic drive around Parliament Square to see the magnificent Westminster Abbey, where Prince William and Kate Middleton were married. View the Royal Albert Hall and Albert Memorial, Whitehall, Downing Street, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, and Big Ben. End the tour with a river cruise, and admire London’s most famous sights from the Thames. The river cruise, offers a unique and memorable way to experience the beauty of London from a different perspective

DAY 4, Friday – Travel to Paris via the Chunnel
This morning, make your way to the train station to board the train to Paris, the City of Light, via the Chunnel, a 31-mile-long underwater tunnel. On arrival, check into the hotel, and spend the remainder of the day at leisure

DAY 5, Saturday – Full Day in Paris
Spend the day at leisure, or join the optional Grand Louvre Museum. Begin the tour with a stroll through the commercial area outside the Louvre, and continue inside the museum where an experienced guide will present to you various exhibitions. Of the many exhibitions found therein, this tour covers those of the medieval fortress, the modern pyramid, the Egyptian department, and some of the museum’s most reputed masterpieces, including Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa

DAY 6, Sunday – Full Day in Paris
Today is free to explore cosmopolitan Paris on your own. Choose the optional Versailles Apartments. The tour takes you to Versailles Palace to witness the grandeur of French classical architecture. Visit the palace and extravagant State Apartments, including a guided visit to the Reception Halls, the Queen’s Bedroom, and the Hall of Mirrors. You will also have time to walk the palace grounds and formal gardens*, designed by Andre le Notre, at your leisure
*During Apr to Oct, entrance to the gardens is not included but can be purchased locally.

DAY 7, Monday – High-Speed Train to Amsterdam
This morning, make your way to the train station and board the high-speed train to Amsterdam, Holland’s sophisticated and modern capital. Arrive and check into your hotel. Free to time to discover this fascinating city on your own

DAY 8, Tuesday – Full Day in Amsterdam
Today is free to explore Amsterdam on your own. Perhaps visit the Jordaan district and Nieuwmarkt with the most impressive of Amsterdam’s remaining city gates. Or, visit the world-famous Rijksmuseum with its vast collection of works from great artists

DAY 9, Wednesday – Full Day in Amsterdam
Spend the day at leisure, perhaps participate in the optional Half Day Marken, Volendam & Windmills. Enjoy a relaxing drive through the countryside north of Amsterdam to reach Zaanse Schans heritage park, a well-known traditional village with its characteristic green wooden houses. Continue to visit the charming fishing village of Volendam for a city walk, and then take a boat ride to the town of Marken on the shores of the old Zuiderzee. The tour includes a visit to a working windmill, a demonstration in a cheese factory, and a visit to a traditional clogmaker
